'KCA Korea Open 2008'

'KCA Korea Open 2008', the largest competition to be held in Korea is hosted by KCA. To enhance the quality of 'KCA Korea Open 2008', the number of equipment and staffs will also be the largest in Korean cube competition history. By upgrading the quantity of equipment and staffs, we will be able to handle more of competitors' records and guarantee them the opportunity to register their name on WCA's official ranking. To make sure that the competitors are in their best condition, we have decided to hold the 'KCA Korea Open 2008' in Geomdan Bokji Hoigwan, Incheon which will provide comfortable condition for both competitors and the spectators. 'KCA Korea Open 2008', the first WCA authorized competition to be held by the name of KCA, will help Korean cube culture to move forward. Also, many new world, Asian, Korean records are expected in this competition and this will bring the excitement to both spectators and many cube stars they will never forget. Every competitor will be given a free cube puzzle with special 'KCA Korea Open 2008' logo on it. We hope that this would raise public interest in Korean cube culture.

| 'KCA Korea Open 2008' is an open-type competition. Anyone can participate disregarding their nationality, position, age, sex etc. |
Things you need to know befor applying for
'KCA Korea Open 2008'

¨ç You CANNOT use other cubes you didn't register. You can only use your cube that is registered before the competition. ¨è In the morning, before the competition begins, our staffs will gather your cubes you will use in the competition. Therefore you need to bring extra cubes to practice since your 'competing cube' will be taken away for registration. ¨é Those who are competing in 3x3x3 blindfold should bring their own eye patch. |
